If you believe that a persons 'consciousness' somehow magically sprang into being, as did our biological bodies, then you might indeed be worried about AI becoming 'conscious' and killing all of us. If on the other hand you believe that we have a personal Creator who stands outside of the world and who breathed His imago deo into us, i.e. our actual 'animating spirit', then you will realise that the idea of a mere machine gaining agency is Sci-fi nonsense. It's akin to those morons who blame guns for violence, as if guns themselves have the ability to act on their own. The real problem as I see it is going to be the melding of humans with machines, called by the monsters who push this abomination: transhumanism.
